A naval action during the Siege of Tyre (332 BCE), where Tyre's Phoenician brethren from Byblos, Sidon, Arwad dispatched their fleet against her, supporting Alexander the Great's attack on the city.

Last king of the vassal kingdom of Byblos, of the Achaemenid Phoenicia

Reign: c. 350 B.C.E. – 316/5 B.C.E.

Immediately after the Battle of Issus, King 'Aynel submitted to Alexander the Great and even took part in the siege of Tyre with his fleet, so that he was initially able to retain his throne.
